Note, our coatings chart colours will be displayed differently depending upon the computer and screen settings. Therefore they should be treated as a guide only.

 

Standard colour range is as follows:

  • B64 – Charcoal

  • N14 – White

  • N23 – Neutral Grey

  • N35 – Light Grey

  • N43 – Pipeline Grey

  • N45 – Koala Grey

  • N61 – Black

  • N64 – Dark Grey

  • Y56 – Merino

All other colours on the Australian Standards colour chart are classified as “Vivid”.

The Australian Standard AS2700 “Colour Standards for General Purposes” presents reference colours for use in choosing colour schemes. These colours are for use in the industrial, architectural and decorative areas with particular emphasis on paints and related materials.

AS2700 has been in use in Australia since 1985, and is extensively referred to in many other Australian Standards .

Australian Standards colours are used throughout many Industries in Australia and New Zealand.

​

Australian Standards Colours are used  for the marking of physical hazards and the identification of certain equipment in many Industries.
